thank god it's weekend. finally have some free time to be fulfilled with my fave activity, fooling around. my last amateur photographer (my brother) suddenly disappeared and left me with all dressed up. so i had to move to my boyf's place and asked him to take some pics. actually, i was planning about taking some outfit pics but the situation was ended up with kiara (the dog) couldn't stop following me. okay, you win young lady.

bulgari has created two special rings for their 125th year anniversary, of which $60 will go to save the children's "rewrite the future" campaign. made of sterling silver, the rings pay tribute to sotirio bulgari, the company's founder who began as a silversmith in the 1800s, and feature save the children's logo engraved on the inside. the ring is available in two sizes. a large band measuring 0.39" (10mm) and a smaller version measuring 0.31". both sizes cost $290.00 usd. so are you interested to win this bulgari "save the children" ring? who's not. then you should go here. all you have to do is just write down your wish to rewrite the future for children in war-torn countries. ugh, i wish i'm good at writing.

ps: my diy boyfriend jeans still on process, it took two nights to bleach them, i was running out my bleach solution. the hardest part is making them distressed and destroyed. until now: i broke my brother's scissors, slice a bit of my finger and my under eye circles getting darker. hopefully they would turn great. amen to that.

chanel paris-moscouw pre fall 2009: focus on accessories

a dialogue between me and my "awkward" dad this afternoon:

father: kid, beware of your second hand stuff, you could get infected with hiv.
me: it's clearly you didn't listen to your teacher when you were a school boy, did you father? and even if it's true, do i look like i care?
father: ...
me: father, is it possibe for me to get an iphone? please...
father: you're asking too much, lalalalalala...
me: (gone)

in the end i had to leave my dad while he was murmuring something (as usual) and without any possible for me to get an iphone, well oh well...

uncle karl, would you like to adopt me? i've been a good girl, i don't hit a club and i know my dad wouldn't mind.

life's been

ann-sofie back press relesa s/s-09, this time using plastic surgery and liposuction as an unlikely point of reference. a series of disco dresses are cut and stretched with drawstrings resembling the processes involved in a face-lift, while clasps are based on the staples used to hold skin in place during recovery.

i think most of them could be inspiration for a prom dress, for those who love frills, drawstring and chiffon. the bikini is an exeption of course. i just sign up on tinypic for second time in my life, wish me luck.

i went thrifting yesterday with caroline, linda and mutia. i got 19 thrifted items, then when i back home, i found out that my plastic bags fulfilled with a loads of basic tees, i suddenly felt so lucky. i bought a pair bell bottom jeans for my next diy project, a boyfriend jeans. after that, they would be acid washed, distressed, destroyed and dry aged. i know people started to wear them massively since pretty long time before this fall season. but whatever, i don't really care about those seasons anyway. 19 thrifted items but still feel not enough, ugh.

the situation went crazy and impossibly handled when we were at linda's place. 4 girls, who they think they're insane already and don't put too much careness to their reputation were trying to make a lipsync vid with katty perry's song 'hot and cold', the only song that we all know the lyric. so here some craziness...

hint: me in the green tee, who swinging linda's doll and playing with linda's beads necklace, and the question is: how could i? oh my... i must lost my mind. honestly, i'm a girl with a low sense of humour, but i think this is pretty silly vid, or at least for us.

ps: i'm trying to not to post everyday for quality reason. now i need my cold coke without that 'hot and cold' singing on my ears all the time.

change is good

i've changed my layout a bit. okay not a bit, pretty a lot i think. actually i kind of bored with my old header pic (sorry w magazine and ms. raquel zimmerman) and it took me a while to think about changing my header, then i came up with this no header pic idea, i think it's pretty wise. no more reddish colours since i don't really play with the colors in a real life, they're now in black and grey palette. i removed some useless widgets, the playlist which i always stop it while i check out my blog, i know they're annoying and boring, the video bar which i so rarely update it and it may be the ugliest widget i've ever had, so useless. and the rest of them? please let them be for a little longer while. the point is, i ridiculously think my old layout makes me feel not smart enough.

murder in suburbia

ugh i hate the weather lately. i simply hate rainy day... um not really actually, just a little bit. i just don't like the dark clouds, esp. in the noon time, the perfect time for my so called photoshoot. the clouds ruined my fave natural noon light then i had to work with my amateur photoshop skill a bit to get this pic looks better.

(leather jacket from superdad, zara white sheer tee, short jeans from boyf, multi cross necklace, doc martens boots)

the facts:
1. that leather jacket fits a bit bigger on me, actually it's small size, a small size for men.
2. i've been wearing doc martens a lot lately.
3. my dad called me a "monster" when he saw me in this outfit, oh thank you dad, thank you for the jacket.

rodarte fall 2009 rtw

all these over knee boots, bondage-y leather jackets and shaggy cardigans are the reasons why i love this fall collection. still couldn't beleive the collection inspired by edward scissorhands and frankenstein-style, i get why it looked handmade now. somebody must find out the diy process immediately. okay i should admit that i'm an outwear junkie... and accessories too.

ps: i just edited my previous post because there was a picture missing, it has remove by... tinypic. great job tinypic! now i need to re-update my previous post. ugh.
